At StreamlinED we assure excellent quality! As a Swim England Approved Training Centre, our small team consists of swimming enthusiasts and educationalists! To help you we have in our team three qualified teachers, three former international swimmers, an inspector and of course Swim England licensed tutors. We know finding the time to do the course can be a struggle so we pride ourselves on outstanding teaching and using practical time in the pool to full effect.
Sarah is one of our Swim England Licensed Tutors. She achieved her Tutor license in 2017, but has been supporting in the delivery and administration of our courses for a number of years.
Her full time job is at a local primary school as a Class Teacher. Sarah has a Politics degree from Loughborough University as well as a PGCE from the University of Derby.
She continues to deliver swimming lessons herself and was a nationally ranked swimmer as a teenager. In her spare time Sarah loves keeping fit, walking her dog and all things Disney!
Paula West is a dynamic Tutor/ Assessor with demonstrated capabilities in teaching and learning, assessment and Internal verification. She has a wealth of knowledge in both Teaching Swimming, Coaching and Further Education.
Paula is a licensed tutor with the ASA and has worked in Further Education for many years. She delivers a variety of both Level 1 & 2 RQF Qualifications and also work based qualifications. She is fully committed to supporting the current challenging and diverse Education system and providing a positive learning experience for all her learners.
Paula also ensures she stays fully up to date with the industry by regularly coaching with a top club in Derby.
Frankie is our Trainee Tutor on the Swim England Educator Training Programme.
She started teaching swimming as soon as she could and absolutely loves it; everyday is different! Frankie loves helping overcome the different challenges children face and enjoys it when they come out with a smile – it is so rewarding.
Frankie is a Mum to 2 crazy girls who keep her occupied 24 hours a day!!!
Frankie started her coaching journey as her eldest starts the journey she did 20 years ago as a swimmer and she is loving every minute.
Frankie also swims for Swimming for Derby Phoenix Swimming Club.

Julie loves swimming, having competed for over 40 years! Now a masters swimmer, Julie has won numerous national titles, is a current British record holder and still enjoys swimming 4000 metres three times a week! Julie recently qualified as a swimming teacher.
Professionally, Julie has worked for over 25 years in a broad range of roles including as a school, college and industry inspector. As a qualified teacher Julie enjoys working within education for both regulatory and awarding organisations as well as being a successful author, lecturer, moderator, chair of examiners, chief examiner and a respected trainer and assessor.
Julie is known for her no nonsense, fair and passionate approach to education and swimming.
Julie is a keen Derby County fan, enjoys listening to music especially from the 80s and loves her two Labradors, Alfie and Ruth.
Frances is the Administrator at StreamlinED and is there for your support throughout the whole process from registration to certification.
After 9 years of working for the ASA Awarding Body Frances took a few months out to travel around South East Asia. After returning to England she joined the StreamlinED team.
Frances loves to travel, do yoga, spend time walking in the countryside and supports Watford Football Club!
